Johnny Cade was the youngest member of the Greaser gang, only 16 years old. He had a rough childhood, growing up with an abusive father who was a drunkard. Johnny's mother had passed away when he was just a baby, leaving him with a father who never showed him any love or affection. As a result, Johnny grew up feeling lonely and abandoned, seeking acceptance and belonging in the Greaser gang.
